A website designed for different ways of navigating
Accessibility statement
DebitMark wants this website to work for people using a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or a small screen. This statement sets out what the site is built to do, and what has not yet been verified.
The standard being worked toward
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is the standard DebitMark is building this website toward. This page describes that intent. It is not a claim that the standard has been met.
The site is built with semantic landmarks, a visible skip link, a logical heading order, labelled form controls, keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus styles. Colour and type are set from one shared set of design tokens, so a contrast or sizing decision is recorded in a single place and can be re-checked rather than guessed.
The following are the design goals applied while building each page. They describe what the site is aiming at, not a tested result:
- Controls that can be operated comfortably by touch as well as by pointer
- Meaning that never depends on colour or hover alone
- Motion that follows the device’s reduced-motion preference
- Form fields that keep their labels and give specific error guidance
- Layouts that reflow on a narrow screen and at increased zoom
What has not been checked
These goals have not been confirmed page by page across the whole website. No independent accessibility audit or formal evaluation has been carried out, and DebitMark does not claim conformance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA or with any other level.
Work still outstanding includes measuring the target size of every interactive control, measuring text and interface contrast in both the light and the dark theme, confirming that each layout reflows at narrow widths and at high zoom, and testing the main journeys with common screen readers.
This page will be updated as those checks are completed, and it will then say what was actually checked rather than only what was intended.
Known limitations
Any third-party scheduling, analytics or consent tool introduced in future will be tested as part of the same accessible journey before it is enabled.
Long-form figures and charts are labelled as illustrative and are intended to be described in text as well as visually. Where a diagram carries information that is not repeated in the surrounding copy, that is a gap and worth reporting.
Reporting a barrier
If something on this website stops you from doing what you came to do, please write to contact@debitmark.com. Telling us the page address, the device, browser or assistive technology you were using and what you were trying to do makes the problem far quicker to reproduce.
If a page is blocking you, the same information can be requested by email and sent to you another way.
